(Comedy Trope) Protagonists that frequently cause more damage or problems than the villains they fight

1. Sam and Max: Freelance Police (Sam and Max Franchise)

Sam is a 6 foot tall dog in a suit and Max is a short rabbity-thing that fight crime ("Sometimes on purpose!") Specifically, weird crimes. Missing Big Foots kidnapped by evil country/western singers. Former child stars hypnotizing the public. Renegade statues of Abe Lincoln. But their methods of fighting crime tend to cause just as much, if not more, problems than the villains. They've caused:

* Giant trees to completely overtake all of North America * Destroyed the Internet (It's okay, Al Gore rebuilt it from his original schematics) * Max becomes president of the United States and is so openly corrupt and prone to solving all problems with giant robots that Max Impeachment Weekly becomes a popular magazine * Blown up a bus with an exploding robot head (It's okay. No one they knew was on that bus) * Sent an innocent rat child with Tourette's to Hell

2. Coop, Jamie, Kiva and Megas (Megas XLR)

Coop is a guy from Jersey who found a giant robot sent from the future buried under a garbage dump and modded it with an old car, changing it so much that Kiva, the future soldier who sent it into the past to keep it out of evil alien hands in the first place, can't pilot it. Coop defends New Jersery from the aliens who come to capture Megas, but he usually flattens most of, if not the entirety, of the city in the process every episode. He's destroyed the entire city so many times that a parody of Voltron comes to fight Coop under the assumption that he must be an evil villain himself.
