[Loved Trope] Character tries to be evil/commit crimes but accidentally helps people

It's always Sunny in Philadelphia - I believe this was in episode 10 of season 7 ("How Mac Got Fat") where Frank attempts to cause havoc at an open intersection by placing a stop sign at each side so that, in his logic, no cars would be able to go. This instead creates a much safer four-way intersection.

One Punch Man - Garou is attempting to become the ultimate monster on the planet by defeating all the heroes (and other monsters). In his fight with the protagonist Saitama, he accidentally saves multiple people (i.e. pushing away debris that was trapping survivors, stopping a helicopter from being destroyed by a monster, etc.).
