Weaning off Topamax??

Weaning off Topamax; taking it for migraines and Atypical Bilateral TN. I weaned 50 mgs before but was only at that dose for a week. I was fine, I was at 100 mgs am and 100 mg pm and I was getting every single side effect. Trust me. I couldn't remember a thing. I felt like dopey. I was crying all day everyday as well. I couldn't take it anymore. So I dropped 50 mgs on Thursday at the blessing of my doctor. I've had a migraine from hell since then like I want to go to the hospital and can't function. Nurtec not even touching it. I got my Botox for migraines on Friday. I thought this would help but it hasn't. I've been rotating heat and ice for 20 minutes. Is this par for the course? Should I keep going or go back up 25 mgs? My prescribing doctor is clueless. Please someone help. My migraine doctor says she didn't prescribe and is refusing to help me. 😭 Does any kind soul know. 😭😭😭
