Review of the Dead Rabbit 4 RDA
Here today we have the Hellvape Dead Rabbit 4 RDA sent to me graciously by Sourcemore. I got it last monday and spent a week with it after failing to build on it the first few times (I'm rusty so sue me🤣). I finally found a use for Google Gemini which helped me get the wattage down exactly finally and I've had no issues with it aside from 2 things which will be mentioned later on.

As I said earlier I got this a week ago and took me 2 days to get the build right as I had limited time the first 2 days I had it and combined with my rusty building ability, it took me about half a dozen times before I got it right. Once I did though, it rewarded me with flavor and clouds for days even at 72W (running .25ohm dual alien wotofo coils). Also online website photos don't do the rainbow justice \*\*\*AT ALL.\*\*\* From the bottom of the airflow ring up it's a matte rainbow but the bottom most portion is a shiny rainbow color (where it says Dead Rabbit 4). I like the fact you can run it dual as I do, or run it as a solo coil build with the included metal blocker that's included with the whole package. I did use it for one of my half dozen builds (the one before I got the dual coil option to work). And while it worked great, the clouds were more of an RDL, which really isn't my vibe. That said the flavor was as good as when I ran the dual coil build. It's got a spacious deck even in dual form and again, if I weren't rusty it'd be easy to build on. I know that for a fact because I already changed the coils thanks to my Legend X deciding to change my wattage in my pocket cause I had it on me at airsoft this weekend and it decided "why don't we go to 200W and burn the coils and Devin's mouth?!" And no, I didn't check my wattage before firing the vape🤣. That said the second set of coils couldn't have been easier to build. Honestly I got 2 \*\*\*glaringly\*\*\* obvious issues with it. That metal preinstalled drip tip fkn \*\*\*suuuuuucccckkkkkssss.\*\*\* I mean I love the feel and taste from it, but it burns your lips if you chain vape like I do. My other issue is that the juice wells are more of a suggestion than a feature. By that I mean the juice wells are almost microscopic in size compared to the RDA. Like they shoulda been at least double the size. It's like every 2 hits or so I'm re-upping my juice amount in the RDA. These both of course could be easily fixed with a Squonk, but alas, the Sourcemore hasn't gotten a new squonk in a few years, and I'm too broke to afford one otherwise. The other point of the drip tip is easily fixed by switching it out for the one that comes as a secondary tip. Those 2 points aside, the build quality and attention to detail for a Hellvape product is shocking. I really cannot say enough good things about the way this RDA looks in the sunlight. And it goes shockingly well with the Earth Brown Legend 5 I did a review on a month or so ago. I definitely will be using it a lot, just not as frequently as I would if the well was larger. Overall a 6.6/10 for it I think is where it lands.

If you're looking for a solid, well built RDA with the ability to do both dual and solo coil builds, look no further. If you want juice capacity on an RDA without needing a squonk? Look elsewhere. Again a 6.6/10
