Another lore dump

Because some other people posted their vessel lore, so I figured why not do the same for Les

Les started as all vessels did: a generic body floating in the void, crafted from pieces presented to her Angel by the Good Doctor.

She did not know who she was or why she was created, but she knew she was given the gift of life, and the gift of ~~ambition~~ a mind to comprehend such a blessing.

Her Angel shaped her further, giving her swooping eyes, longer hair, a white collar and mozzetta to show her devotion, a necklace to act as her focus.

Then, the light of her creator was abruptly and horribly stripped away from her, casting her into darkness. She did not know why, nor could she truly comprehend what had happened, having been born only a few moments ago. But she knew she hated the darkness with every fibre of her being.

This is how she was for a few days, though it felt like years had passed. Her mind began to wander; thinking was one of the few things she was able to do in the void. She contemplated for what reason her Angel had left her. Was it because they were dissatisfied with her? Was it for some greater good? Was it perhaps some outside force that wanted to spite her, only moments after she was born? The darkness gave her no answers.

So, she prayed. She prayed to the one being she knew, her Angel, for salvation. She prayed with all of her mind, all of her heart. Though she had no soul to devote to the act, she knew if she had one she would pray with all of it too.

And then, she was released. She felt light creep into the darkness, through the iron doors she could now see. She felt a pull in the center of her being, begging, screaming to go forward and reunite with what she was meant to be.

So she went off, seeing a world of orange trees and quaint little buildings covered in a layer of ash. She saw darkness spilling out of the ground into the sky, and being fought back by the red light of her Angel. She ran forward to see her Angel again, and saw it captured. Caged and bound by the disgusting *human*. They were pathetically struggling against the Angel's will, like a heretic. A *heathen*. A degenerate that belonged in the ground.

So that is where she put them. Releasing the Angel and feeling its warmth enter her body, filling her with purpose and belonging. Her Angel imparted knowledge of what had happened, not of everything, but enough to know that the human had taken it from her, and her from it.

She did not comprehend most of it, but that did not matter. Nothing about what she did or did not know mattered anymore, for she had her Angel. The wondrous red glow in her eyes and chest, guiding every step she took, dictating every word she spoke.

She knew it was because of her devotion. How could it not be? She was rewarded for never losing faith by being reunited with her creator, for that is what she prayed for, and that is what happened.

Now, she keeps her devotion in the forefront of her mind. If her zeal wavered, would her Angel be ripped from her again? And return to the empty void of uselessness and abandonment? She can't bear the thought, If that were to happen, she may simply die.

Of course, this reflects on any other vessel she may or may not see, floating through the unspecified void. Perhaps their Angels would return if they were simply as devout as she was?

But it matters not, in the grand scheme of things. For she is Under the Gaze of her Angel, and that is enough for her.
