Help!

So I got my Vive today, and started getting it set up.

Everything went so well. All the lights are green, everything is dandy!

Then I go to start up SteamVR.

It says that no devices are connected and my headset's display (not the LED, that's green) is glowing orange.

Please help, I'm but a young lad wanting to get into VR.

UPDATE: So the orange I was seeing was my background, apparently my computer thought the Vive was just another monitor, got me closer to a solution, but no luck getting SteamVR to play nice.

UPDATE 2: SteamVR has been deleted and almost reinstalled, except I received a "disk write error"

UPDATE 3: FIXED! Not sure what I did, but I contacted HTC and as soon as the guy went to look at it, it just started working. He didn't even see my screen. I dunno what happened. It works now though.
