Is GW planning on people printing models?

I was just looking at Games Workshop's website (Canadian prices) - sorry if I'm late to this party but I didn't realize they had prices out for anything other than the army boxes.

12 Battle Pilgrims - $100

3 Knights - $70

I was shocked. Using the new army builder, this is approximately 175 points. Are we seriously expecting armies to cost $1 per point???

Anyways, this got me thinking - is GW simply offering their models as a "premium" product (sell less, but for more) and expecting a majority of people to print models? I don't think they'd ever openly admit that, but how else can anyone afford to play this game at those prices? It will kill the player base (in my opinion) before it even begins.
