Settings question...

When I am watching TV (HDMI 1)and I turn my Switch on. (HDMI 2 ) my TV will automatically turn over to the Switch. It does not with the SS which is also HDMI 2 I use a splitter. Is there a setting I am missing?

BTW, off topic but I love be this machine. I've been mostly a Nintendo only guy since 1987. This is the first non Nintendo console I have bought since the original Playstation. After seeing the value of Gamepass and AAA games actually going on sale less than a year after release really has changed my opinion of Nintendo
