Game Feedback: confusion about game modes and game editing

The different ways of playing and editing game worlds are fantastic, robust and fun - but the average younger player cannot discover what options exist, or how to access them. The 2018 start page of the game is confusing, and the editor is more powerful, but also more restrictive in terms of opening and editing ongoing games.

In previous versions, you could edit an ongoing local game, and it was pretty clear what the different game modes did.My sons and I liked alternating between editing the game world (creating things for each other to explore) and then entering explore mode.

Now, there are multiple counter-intuitive ways to get into games (Explore, Games, MP Lobby etc...) and it isn't at all clear what the difference between "edit" and "create" are.

What is more, trying to simply edit an existing save game is such a complete mish-mash that I've now given up on trying to figure it out. My kids lost interest a long time ago because they spent an hour trying to edit a local game, and gave up.

Trying to edit existing games - and they don't show up. If you can even figure out how to try to edit an existing game any blueprints are deconstructed, although the blueprint outline remains and cannot be completed or removed (ruining the world really).

Then if you open the local game again in the editor - it reverts to the original edited version.

I don't understand why this has been made so unplayable. It should be simple: Edit and Create should be in one area of the start page - and it should be easier to open local games for editing. Explore and Games should be in the second area of the start page, and it should be made much easier to determine the difference between various game modes.

Those are my 2 cents.
