YSK: AAA battery replacement policy is a scam

Why YSK : Many people purchase AAA insurance or roadside insurance based on AAA claims that they will replace the battery for free if it fails within 36 months. This is 100% not true. They will have tons of hidden conditions they don't/won't tell you about when you purchase your plan or battery. My battery died after 13 months and they said because I didn't drive it enough I'm magically not under warranty anymore. None of this mentioned anywhere on their website when purchase their plans OR when you purchase the battery roadside. If your buying a AAA battery because they "promise" to replace it, just know they won't. Go to a car parts store and get a good battery.
