About niche
Why are pro ai "artists" not looking to fill their own niche instead of trying to replace and/or go along with traditional art?
Lots of folks mention the moment photography was invented as an analogy. In that regard, photography found a separate niche that traditional painting couldn't match, and as a consequence, painters began creating stuff that photogrphy couldn't replicate (like the dadaism paintings). AI is supposed to be "better" than traditional art but so far I haven't seen "better" only "faster".
So, what is the niche that AI, as a tool, came to fill?
