It finally happened to me 🤣

Yall I thought these were fake but I guess it does happen.

Domestic flight and we are boarding for premium economy, fully boooked flight and the person who is supposed to sit next to me hasn’t arrived until last boarding group. As soon as he gets here, he ask if I would be okay switching with his partner. ( which I found weird since it didn’t seem like he board with anyone). I usually don’t mind switching seats and since it’s a redeye, I didn’t have a preference on window or aisle.

So I went ahead and asked where are they sitting and he let me know they’re in economy row 21!!!

I literally had to hold back my laugh and tell him sorry no.

He said his partner was really scared to fly alone, and it would mean a lot to them, and I literally just said well maybe you could ask a person next to them if they would want to switch with you. He just stared at me blink and then sat down and it was pretty awkward. But I fell asleep sooo

Edit: wow this blew up, it’s getting hard to respond. I do feel bad but it’s important to stand your ground. If it was the same class, I would had switch but this was a bit crazy to me..
