How do I get past these screen in Akalabeth: World of Doom?

Akalabeth, released in 1980, is I believe the very first turn-based RPG ever made. I wanted to try it, but i can't figure out how to get past this screen here. No matter what I press on the keyboard, it just rerandomizes the numbers and doesn't actually progress.
