[S1 Spoilers] Anyone else wish that Jayce & Mel's relationship was built up more?

Like, I wish we got to see their connection grow stronger over time. Their sex scene left much to be desired for me, cause I just didn't care about their relationship. We didn't see their connection build, so there was no satisfaction in seeing them get together. I feel like there was a lot of potential though. I wish their relationship was shown growing like how Vi and Caitlyn's were. Anyone else feel the same way? Or, anyone feel the opposite?
