Is anyone else sick of Culture War???

And it’s use by profiteers, billionaires, corporations, political operatives, political parties, trade groups, industry associations, etc. to ensure that the majority of everyday Americans do NOT gather under the same tent.

Because if that happened, the powers-that-be would be SCREWED, like French Revolution style screwed.

The vast majority of everyday Americans have way more in common with one another than they do with .01%.

By promoting and spreading race, gender, sexual orientation and whatever other tribal/identity politics of the moment is A/B testing well, the powers-that-be are able to maintain a societal balance that economically favors them and allows them to maintain control over not just government but every major economic sector.

From media to tech to finance to energy, on and on and on… to reap BILLIONS upon BILLIONS upon BILLIONS.

To enact policy that make them BILLIONS more. To create loops holes that allows them to hide BILLIONS more. To install tax breaks that let them keep BILLIONS more. To remove/prevent consumer protections that save lives. To spend Dark Money to tip the scales of democracy to point in which it can no longer be accurately labeled a representative democracy.

It’s not a conspiracy. It’s not a cabal. It’s not a grand scheme.  It is the overlapping economic (and often ideological) interests of those with vast means to influence, using their vast means to influence.

What’s wild is we have never lived in a time in which that was more broadly visible to the masses, yet we still refuse to deal with it and instead openly and viscerally engage in Culture War.
