Green Steet Station, painted benches?

Just back from a long trip, I headed to Green Street to catch the t. All of the benches have been painted a weird, flat pale green. I didn't see this anywhere else on the orange line.

Does anyone know what's up? It looks terrible--dirty and chipped already. Which anyone who does maintenance would know. The dark wood benches are pretty light maintenance but paint is going to require lots of upkeep

Wondering if there are any MBTA people who lurk on here. I'd hate to see this spread
