Here are the functions I'm looking for:
* Session lazy loading
I practically live or die by session lazy loading, I often have saved sessions with 50, 100 ,200, 500 tabs over time, and I need my browser to not murder my RAM and CPU just for starting it up.
* Low(-ish) RAM usage
I understand my habits end up with a higher than usual RAM usage no matter what, but I'd like to stay away from worst offenders like Chrome if possible.
* Tab recovery in Incognito
I tend to often use Incognito - mostly because there are sites where I *want* to leverage cookie tracking, but many where I don't want to muddy up the former's results -, so being able to just Ctrl+Shift+T back a tab I accidentally closed while using Incognito by "default" is really useful.
* Minimum tab size
As mentioned, I tend to have uncountable amount of tabs, most browsers I've seen just resort to only showing the page icons eventually, which isn't very useful when I have 20-30 tabs of the same site open next to each other. Currently having about an inch minimum on each tab works great at differentiating all of them.
* Sequential tab cycling with Ctrl+Tab/Ctrl+Shift+Tab
Again for the above reasons, immediate, responsive tab traversal is pretty important, but I know in some cases like Opera this isn't possible, so apparently it's not a given it will work everywhere.
* Optional: partial screenshots
I got pretty used to the screenshot feature in Firefox, the built in Win10 Snipping Tool doesn't allow editing the screenshot boundary befory copying so having to use that would feel like a clear downgrade.
I'm currently using Firefox, which fits all of these, but issues and annoyances keep popping up with each update, and the devs seem adamant on taking out any sort of backwards compatibilty that would at least allow extensions to make things work the - often better - old way, so I'd rather look for alternatives while I don't have to switch out of necessity.
These are some key features I'm relying on day to day, I honestly don't know if there is any I take for granted but doesn't come to mind.
Any input is appreciated.
