Miles transfer for award travel

Want to fly from Nashville (BNA) to Mexico City (MEX) in mid March. I have 300k+ Capital One miles but only 20k United miles. The award travel on United app is very cheap but I need more miles. I’m new to this but I think I should transfer CapOne miles to Aeroplan and book United through them? Any guidance or tips?
