Meet Skittles!

I met this pretty girl in the Lowe’s near my house. Another customer was petting her, and I asked if she was her cat. “I think he lives here in the store,” she replied. (I didn’t bother telling her that torties are almost always female.)

A store employee was nearby, and he said that she is the store cat. He also mentioned that she is called Skittles, and she is the mother of a few other cats living in the store. She was a feral who eventually warmed up to the store staff; he mentioned that she has become much more friendly over the last three months.

It isn’t real obvious from the photos, but Skittles seems to be adapting well to having staff. She’s a bit chonky! These were the best pictures I could get, because tortie. :)
