My boyfriend’s stepmom told me nobody wanted my cat oink because his markings were “ugly and not symmetrical”??

Can anyone explain that logic to me please? She’s rude in general, but that kind of hurt my feelings. I know my cat is cute and adorable, but do people really not get cats because they’re “ugly”? Even “ugly” cats are still adorable. Kinda uncalled for lmao. My boyfriend said I was being dramatic but I’m not even that mad just kinda like..wtf? lol
