Did Honda fix the AC problems in the 11th gen?

So I'm looking for a new car. I have a 10th gen hatch, and while the rest of the car has been amazing, the 10th gen AC problems are a deal breaker for me. I live in a hot environment where i use the AC more than half the year. I got my 2018 in 2021 and already I've had to replace the condenser three times and the evaporator once. It's really a once-a-year fix at this point. I'm done with it.

While that has soured me on Honda, I have to admit the Civic Hybrid hatch is just perfect. More power, way better MPG, gorgeous interior, plenty of cargo room, beautiful looks, etc. But I'm being held back from my AC worries. I'd hate to spend a huge amount of money on a car and then find myself in the exact same situation as I'm trying to get out of.

Has Honda fixed the AC problems in the 11th gen? Also how is the paint? My 10th gen has flaking side mirrors and door handles. While that is not as important as the AC, it's still annoying to deal with.

I'd like to hear from 11th gen owners, especially those who came from 10th gen. Was the upgrade worthwhile? Or will I run into to the same problems?
