I don’t understand the tutorial world Cobbled Farms. How am I meant to learn?

Got excited to play this mod pack and saw the tutorial world preloaded in.

However, playing it I am completely lost and confused. There are 2 books on the ship and one of them tells me to craft a Pokédex. I then do not find another book again. I have wandered around and around the town and I can't find anything or even a Apricorn tree.

I just don't understand what I'm missing. I've seen people talk about how many books there are in the tutorial world but I can't find any. I keep finding lecterns but they are all empty.

Can anyone help tell me how I'm meant to use this world?
