It' s not burnout. It's something else. How about ya'll?

I'm at a point in my career where I'm comfortable with my income. More wouldn't be hugely life-changing unless it's some obscene amount, though I imagine that would come with a significant increase in responsibilities.

Anyway, I'm at a point where I kind of don't follow much of the news outside of what pertains directly to my area (web apps) and I try to keep my studies to during downtime at work (except the occasional cert, which may require additional time commitment.)

I used to be super gung-ho. Spending my off-time studying, reading ALL THE BOOKS, etc.

Now, I notice most of my off-time is spent enjoying music production, reading about cool people (currently reading Al Jourgensen's book). Other than that, I do some boxing and show the newer people technique and stuff. The last thing on my mind is looking at Burp Suite or another line of JavaScript. It's not an "I forget to do it" kind of thing. It's literally more of a "No. Anything but that right now."

It feels like maybe I'm burnt out, but not there? Or maybe it just means I'm okay with my current self.
