Overshoes - SPD / Gravel Shoe - Recommendations?

Hi all, This may be a UK focused question potentially, but recognise that everyone can cycle in the cold and rain sometimes!

I made the move to SPD cleats for my road bike this year after getting tired of sliding all over the place at cafe stops on polished wood floor and have loved the change. However, there are hardly as many overshoes that I can find will definitely fit over the lugs and extra grip on my shoes.

Am I wrong, or do people just use normal road over shoes on gravel/CX style shoes? They all seem much more expensive and focused on protecting from mud obviously, but I'm really just looking for something to protect against the cold and wind.
