[DATV ACT 1 SPOILERS] the real danger to minrathous...

i feel like they kinda screwed up with presenting the minrathous vs treviso choice, bc as stated it felt really obvious that treviso needed more help. but then i went to the ruins of dock town and it immediately became clear that the dragon atrack wasn't the biggest threat to minrathous: the templar citadel (which we know has giant sky lasers and a high degree of venatori infiltration), and the venatori (obviously) was. kinda seems like neve did a really uncharacteristically shit job at trying to convince rook to help her out in minrathous by failing to mention the very real threat of the city getting its ass blasted to bits by cop lasers... like, surely she could have had a follow-up line to lucanis's very compelling "minrathous is literally run by massively powerful mages and treviso doesn't even have an organized government" with "at best, most of those powerful mages will run and hide to save their own skins, and at worst, they will use their giant cop lasers to blow up all the poor people they don't actually give a shit about while they fire at the dragon"???

also, just... that fight was so weirdly sparse. three people in this massive open space vs this huge fucked up dragon and that's the thing that tipped it over? literally not one crow joining in, teia just chilling on the sidelines until it's over... it really made me miss the attack on haven in da:i. the two party member limit feeling straight up ridiculous bc WHAT WAS EVERYONE ELSE EVEN DOING WHY COULDN'T WE SEND HALF TO ONE AND HALF TO THE OTHER WHAT THE HELL EVEN

i haven't played the minrathous attack yet, but the aftermath of it without being there is just so damn weird. you're really telling me that the shadow dragons couldn't handle it? that literally just dorian, maevaris, and viper couldn't handle it??? you think neve would have not thought to remind rook about the templar citadel as a big part of the threat??? make it make sense
