Any suggestions for a good, android based ereader whose screen is on par or better than Kindle latest generation?

Hi all, asking here as final resort since I cannot find a conclusive answer anywhere.

I am looking to upgrade from my 3rd gen paperwhite to a new e-reader, preferably to get something outside Kindle ecosystem and with Android.

I for weeks leaned towards Boox Go7 BW since it hits all the right boxes - Oasis substitute, buttons, large screen. But I read a lot of comparisons and reviews and turns out that its display is considered much worse than Kindle by large margin. Its apparently not as clear, has greenish tint, poorer viewing angles etc., which I fear will make me dislike it coming from Kindle. Screen quality is like top priority.

But reading about other devices on market, this seems to be a common thing where non Kindle e readers get far worse ratings and reviews regrading the screen compared to Kindle devices even if they match or surpass them on paper.

Any ideas or suggestions?
