People disliking Getting Killed is reminding me how I still viscerally dislike Ants From Up There

It's okay folks: you're gonna have on years and off years. Sometimes the trends will be on your side and sometimes they won't.

Sometimes the guy with the weird voice will speak to your soul, and other times they'll sound like an emo vampire who won't stop rambling. Sometimes a band comes along that blends all your favorite things together, and sometimes a band smashes together all the things you hate, and yet everyone younger than you just eats it up.

Sometimes an album will grow on you over the course of years. And other times, you'll wonder why years later you still think that the hot album of three years ago sounds like a steaming pile of garbage.
