Even if Zeke comes back, hold on to Pollard and here's why. (PPR only)
In college Pollard played the majority of his snaps out of the slot, catching passes. This means he will be cutting into both Zeke and Cobbs reps.
Kellen Moore is going to look to be extra creative in his first year.
Cowboys drafted Pollard because Kellen himself pushed hard to get him.
Pollard barely played in preseason showing that he already has a role locked in.
If Zeke makes big money the cowboys will look to extend his career as much as possible by spelling him more often instead of running him into the ground.
Last year, Zeke had 77 catches. A lot of those catches will transfer to Pollard this year as they try to keep Zeke fresh for the playoffs.
If Randall Cobb goes down Tony Pollard actually has a legit chance of becoming the starting slot receiver since that's essentially what he played in college.
Dak likes to take what he can get vs defenses. Though he's certainly not as talented, he has a style of play similar to Brady where he will dink and dunk down the field if you let him.
Even with Zeke back, Pollard has stand alone value as a flex option. Could be a poor man's James White or Tarik Cohen, might even surpass them IMO.
