For those of you wondering what to purchase first with Esoterics...

Let me start off by saying this decision is entirely situational and based on your goals. With that out of the way. If you are raiding and trying to tackle Savage Alexander, the weapon is going to be, **by far**, your best option coming out of the gate. Not only does it give you a boost via weapon damage, (enmity, healing, or damage, depending on your role), it also provides the largest increase in both your main stat and vitality (if you need that). Furthermore if you're concerned about switching up a weapon with *good* secondaries, for a higher level weapon with 'meh' secondaries, still get the higher level weapon. The weapon damage and main stat increase, alone, are enough to tip that scale by a long shot.

Of course, the decision is ultimately yours, but if you're looking for the biggest bang for your buck, absolutely get your weapon first. Just my two cents. Good luck!
