You know, you can argue that the main reason to preorder a figure is simply to secure your copy, but...
It sure would be nice to get it on release too!
What happened? Well back in November of last year, these two gals showed up for preorder, so naturally, I preordered them at the same time.
Fast-forward one year, and now I'm told that because they're on the same order, I have to wait until November for the second figure to release, in order to get the figure that's already out.
The store in question? GoodSmile US, being the so called, "Official site" to get these things from in the US, you'd think they'd have more control over their platform, but no, "no can do" apparently.
And keep in mind that they don't tell you the release date of these things when they go up for preorder, just a general window of what \*might\* be the release date.
And even if they DID provide a release date, Sophia F. Shirring was supposed to release this month, but got pushed back to November recently.
\*On a lesser note\* , I bought Figma Akane on release last month, and now I see that same figure going for a whole $40 cheaper on ebay, I mean, I know the price of these things fluctuate over time, but goddamn, I'm feeling a little bit scammed, but that's a "me thing" rather than an actual complaint...
