Air Canada flight attendants’ union serves 72-hour strike notice

CUPE initiated our 72hr strike notice at 00:58. Air Canada then issued 72hr lockout notice at 01:30.

Last night Air Canada suspended all staff travel until Aug 22

They are also spinning in the media that they offered the Union 38% raise when in fact CUPE has come out and said it was only 8% in the first year and 17.2% over 4 years (see here: https://cupe.ca/air-canada-no-longer-wants-negotiate)
