SU4 update

Hello guys/gals, just want to chime in first off here are my specs

9600x running @ 5.4 all core. 32gbs 6400mhz 7900gre 1000w psu C drive is on its own 1tb Games installed on its own 1tb nvme drive

Msfs20 settings mix of ultra/high T-100 G-130

So quickly to keep it short, I bought both 20/24 just recently obviously I wanted to make the leap from combat flight sims to GA so I wanted the newest game. COULD not no matter what setting I put play it, the “limited by main thread” wouldn’t allow me to get anything over 30fps on a airport with basically just a tower anything else would be a slide show. So for a while I’ve been playing msfs 20 without an issue 45-60fps anywhere and everywhere no stutters.

Saw the SU4 news and all the talk and said hmm let me give it a shot, I’m telling you I’ve never been able to get further than jumping into a running a310 and sit in the slide show and just quitting the game.

45-60+ fps (caped at 60) Main thread time I’ve never seen it get to the 13ms in LAX Sitting at the runway. T- 100 g-100

Settings mix of ultra/high (texture at high) could probably do ultra tbh, vram sitting at 10.4gb another problem I had to run the game with medium textures before the beta because it’d max out 16gbs on high medium hovered over 13.5gbs.

If you’ve had performance issues, I really really suggest you give this beta a try, they’ve changed the performance it’s unbelievable to be honest. I might just now shut down my msfs20 ops and transition to 24
