I adopted these two girls about a week ago!
Hi everyone! I adopted these two girls named Pumpkin and Spice about a week ago. They were originally in a space about 2x1. I upgraded them to a space about 5x5 1/2 feet, bought them toys/hides, and changed their diet to make sure they have a better Ca:P ratio and more vitamin C. I have fleece liners coming tomorrow in the mail. So far I've been shaking the blankets out every other day and have done one deep clean where I change out all the blankets for fresh ones, mop the tile under them, and change the bedding in their food cage. So far "potty training" has helped keeping the play area cleaner. I was wondering if anyone has any tips about their care that may not typically be in care guides? I was also wondering how many more girls I can adopt in this space I currently have? In the future I plan on building an outdoor enclosure that they can free roam and live in full time (year-round the weather is 72 and sunny) and they'll be living indoors during the winter months. Any tips on that would also be greatly appreciated!
