I hate when a “animal lover” only likes or cares about an animal if they think it’s “cute”

It feels very counterintuitive because to be an animal lover, you need to love every single specimen and every single type of animal that exists.

Unfortunately insects are given the short end of the stick most of the time and it sucks too because without most insects, this beautiful planet would lose most of the stuff that makes it so precious to us. Insects that are decomposers, pollinators, and so much more insects work so hard to make forests and the planet a better place.

So if you go around, only caring about animals you think are cute, and immediately switch up your attitude when an insect or reptile is at the same area as you, please reconsider your life choices.
