Track light bulbs

What bulbs go in track lights? Normal light bulbs like you'd put in a standard lamp are in there now. If I'm getting a bulb that will last for the next five years and then getting up on a ladder to screw it in, I want the right thing up there. I *hate* being on ladders, especially since the room is carpeted.

It's a rental, so getting an actual chandelier is not an option. Sigh.
