A potentially sad story that’s totally fine

When I was a kid and reading Judy Blume (Gen X Represent), I remember an interview where she said she wrote Forever because her daughter wanted to read a book where teenagers had sex and nothing terrible happened to them. Sometimes it’s nice when life uneventfully keeps moving, right?

So anyway, I’m up to my ears in an elaborate colorwork project with a bunch of colors hanging off, and my cable snapped off at the tip! And it’s part of my beautiful set of hiya hiya interchangeables. But guess what! I had a spare cable in the same size and I replaced it immediately, and went on like nothing happened. My day and mood are unaffected! But I am immediately reordering a new backup cable so I can be prepared (if you stay ready, you don’t have to get ready).
