Graphics cards and processors - questions

Hi there,

My current laptop contains a GTX970m and a 6th gen i7-6700HQ

A laptop I have been offered for a very good price contains 2x GTX980m (yes, two) and a 4th gen i7-4710MQ

I've used Intel's compare feature but I still can't tell if the processor in the new laptop is significantly worse than my current one.

Also, with so much graphics card power, will that processor just bottleneck it and render most of the power useless? I already find it hard to imagine needing more than one GTX980, much less that processor being able to make use of all of it. Another factor is heat, two 980m must make a lot of it and I don't want it melting itself to death.
