I’ve managed to get mono and it’s less than fun

While I was in the process of being diagnosed with lupus (in 2014) I was informed that I had EBV antibodies. This was news to me, but my doctors think the mono triggered the lupus. I figured that since I had the antibodies, I’d not get mono again.

I was wrong.

A few days ago, I started having full body paresthesia and ataxia. My chronic neck pain increased tenfold. I started feeling nauseous and I’m even more tired than I normally am (and I’m also narcoleptic!). I’m running fevers, but as y’all know that could just be my lupus.

Does anyone have any advice on dealing with mono while having lupus? It’s literal hell.

Also, did y’all know lupus can cause a false positive for Syphilis? The more you know, right?
