Why do majority of NBA fans think Ja Morant is finished?

Did he have a career ending injury? Did he suddenly lose all his talent? He's a headcase that likes his guns and has been suspended a bunch. Maybe he isn't as explosive as before? I genuinely don't know that to be the case. His trade value is low because he's a wildcard? I don't see why he can't recover an all-star level. Can someone more knowledgeable explain why everyone thinks he's on his way out the league or something?
