How was Larry able to cover up the property damage caused to the Smithsonian in the second movie?

For one thing, a ton of damage was left to the Smithsonian Castle as a result of the final battle like the window being shattered by both the Wright Flyer and Abraham Lincoln’s memorial statue and a mess being left as a result of the final battle and one painting was left ruined in the National Gallery of Art and another one was turned the other way around, and two famous aircrafts were left missing and damaged and it’s unknown if the Smithsonian exhibits took their daytime positions when sunrise came.
