Does Gsync Pulsar work over a USB C to DP 1.4 cable? Alternatively, does it work over hdmi 2.1?

I was planning on getting a new monitor and was eyeing a Gsync Pulsar one, but I am on a gaming laptop so I don't have a full DP 1.4 port... And I don't want to risk buying something I might not be able to fully utilize without asking first if someone tried something like that.

One of the USB C ports has DP alt mode, does Pulsar work over that connection since (if I understood correctly) it has the exact same protocol as a regular DP cable?

Alternatively, does it work over HDMI 2.1?
