We might not pick top 5 and still get a top offensive lineman

With Caleb Williams and Drake Maye set to go top 2 + MHJ right behind them, there are other QB in the mix that can make the top 8 interesting. Penix Jr. just absolutely went bonkers last night raised his stock and Jayden Daniels was already a first round pick with teams allegedly starting to fall in love with his profile. Bo Nix could creep up with a good end of the season, he's the least likely at early round 1 but QB draft stock is such a crapshoot up to April.

I'm not saying all three of Penix, Daniels and Nix will go top 10, but if they continue to show out through the CFB championship and pro days, there's a good shot that at least one and potentially 2 will go top 10. That matters to us because If we pick between 6 and 8, we'll either be able to:

1. get one of the top two tackles we desperately need 2. a QB needy team will trade down with us and we still get another o-line guy like Latham plus picks

Possible draft:

1. Caleb Williams - CHI 2. Drake Maye - WSH 3. Jayden Daniels - NE 4. Marvin Harrison Jr. - ARI 5. Joe Alt - NYG 6. Michael Penix Jr. - PIT (Trade up) 7. Olu Fashanu - NYJ (if we lose to NE and TN or LAC lose)

I understand if we pick lower than 7th, the odds start dropping we can get the tackle. We could also still trade up or down and grab our guy. Otherwise, Nabers is probably on the board and is a top 5 prospect and would be the consensus WR1 overall in a year without MHJ.
