Being heavily loaded on a wing as a beginner…

Long story short I screwed up and trusted one guy instead of getting more opinions. I got my wing before training because the lead time is so crazy and I really wanted an ozone spyder as my first wing.

Anyway I got recommended the 24m size by the vendor. This vendor is VERY VERY trusted and a huge school so I figured I wouldn’t need other opinions. I will leave the name out just because I’m not trying to bash anyone or give a bad name AT ALL. Still love the company but confused why they sold me this size.

Anyway I started ground training and my instructor and I were going book work and decided to go over the wing and manual and the rest of my gear.

Turns out I am at around 265lbs (120kg) with the paramotor, 2gallons of gas, reserve, wing. The spyder/roadster 24m PPG weight is listed as up to 120kg. Putting me at 100%.

My instructor said it will probably work but just wanted some insight from anyone who is flying like this, ideally on the same wing.

From my understanding- it is completely safe still, just more dynamic. The thing that worries me is learning on it and most of all- the landing being too hot for a beginner to learn.

I am decently fit and “younger” if that matters (30)
