Got my nova last night. Red/Black with two tone buttons.

I received my nova last night. It only took 9 days with 4pX shipping to Florida, USA.

I immediately did a button and D-pad swap. Both the crystal red and replacement black D-pad were perfect without the grinding issue reported by some users. I also did a two-tone mod on the button, which I have not see anyone try yet.

It was easy to do, the buttons are attached to the membrane with white silicone rubber. You can carefully pull the buttons off without tearing the clear membrane and then you have to remove as much excess white rubber as you can from the membranes before re assembly or they won't sit right. I found it easiest to use nail clippers to trim the excess material.

I ordered a black bumped back shell but it was not included with my order. I contacted Retroid and hopefully they will resolve the issue for me. I will update the post when I hear back from them.

Update: I contacted Retroid several times about the missing Bumped backplate in my order and have not heard a response. I have placed an order for a new bumped backplate. It is disappointing because I have to pay for shipping again, If Retroid Does get back to me, I will request a refund for this shipping on the new plate.
