Scholarships and Student aid if quitting a good job to return to school full time
Like the title says, I make a wage that looks really good on paper, but I live in a high cost of living area, and I am also the sole income earner while my wife is also going back to school. I currently make too much to qualify for the majority of the scholarships with an income cap, but I won't be making that much if I return to school full time and stop working. I feel as if I'm in a catch 22. I won't have any tax returns with a lower income until a year after I quit my job, but I can't afford to go to school full time without scholarships. Has anyone else run into this situation before? Were scholarship funds sympathetic to your situation? Were there scholarships available that didn't account for the income gap?
