switching back from google docs to scrivener

So i switched from scrivener to google docs when I a computer crash killed my laptop and scrivener wasn't there to save it.

I know scrivener auto backs up to google cloud but at the time of the computer crash I there was this issue preventing scrivener from backing up which i never resolved (i think the newer version fixed the issue but I'm not sure)

I've progressed enough to my novel where it's getting to a point where i find myself wasting time whenever i need to search for a chapter because it's getting hard for me to find chapters. especially when i add a chapter in between two previous chapters and give it some stupid name like chapter 12.5 so i don't have to rename ever chapter.

With docs i have a dark mod chrome app and prefer default formatting. If I paste a google doc into scrivener the formatting is "off" and i don't know enough about the process of formatting to have the document conform to my likening.

I would also like a way to know my documents are backed up and secure

another plus google docs has is being able to access my book through my phone.

How would i be able to make a smooth transition to over scrivener ?
