Done with the MEATER Pro! What is a good alternative?

I just can't keep limping along with this piece of fucking shit any more. I've resisted throwing it in the garbage because it was a gift, but enough is enough. It won't stay connected, it's inaccurate, and it requires constant babysitting. So....what is a good alternative? Are all smart thermometers trash or is there a product that actually does a great job?
