What I realized

What if The watermelon Stevens are an allegory to Rose/pink’s struggle?

The first group we see is the group with the star theme, love and worships the offspring of the creator. The crystal gems

The second group is one who would fight and die to save Their Steven, who is shown as a warrior until the end, who is for War, despite Their creator being against it. The homeworld gems

Only in the end when their creator in a different form asked both groups for help and they worked together did they accomplish the goal of helping Steven
