What would you argue would be the best CITY XI of all time?

Let’s say you can pick 11 starters, a formation, and a coach from any point in STL’s history, whether it be CITY 2 or CITY, whether they stayed a few months or a few years, past or present. Provided they’ve signed with us or worn the jersey, they’re eligible.

Which formation do you use? Who’s best suited for that formation? Which coach pulls that formation off the best? (And to a degree, that question is accidentally tailored for Damet… but shh)

What amount of current players make it into the lineup? Who are some of your hot takes on who does and doesn’t make it in? And where do you think this hypothetical super-CITY would place in the mls? And maybe if that’s not enough, European leagues? I don’t know!

Hypothetical for the sake of fun, had some time in my hands today to wonder about it and came up with a few ideas
