Influx of new sub members.

Look.. I’m a noob. Only been investing for a few years. This is a PSA to fellow noobs: stop asking stupid questions!! This sub is being ruined by an influx of “is $24.69 a good price to buy DKNG?” And “I’ve been studying stocks for 2 weeks and I’m ready to put $50K in the market, what stock should I pick?”

Do your own due diligence. Do research, educate yourself. Learn what the terms mean. Learn what a “pump and dump” scheme is, learn that twice. Don’t buy penny stocks. Cannabis stocks are always risky no matter what. I’ve only ever lost money on them.

Learning about the stock market can be an incredibly enriching experience. It’s quite literally a whole new world. But learn on your own, learn how to use the Reddit search feature and don’t take advice from random people on Reddit! (yes including me)
